Rantings of an average wage earner
I'm just a normal citizen, living a normal life, earning a normal salary, yet I'll be subjected to paying a crazily abnormal price for petrol by midnight tonight. Soon, I'll succumb to the hike in prices of my basic needs as well!
We work hard - an average of 10 hours a day - just to get that single pay check that makes us feel that it's all worth it.......and the beloved "from the people, for the people" rob us from that joy....balik kampung tanam jagung lor~~....
We struggle hard and long enough to survive in this forsaken city, yet the money will never be enough. The rich will become richer and the poor....balik kampung tanam jagung lo.....
We are told not to borrow money from loan sharks - Ah Longs - but money's never enough leh...how?!??! BALIK KAMPUNG TANAM JAGUNG LO!!!!!
Ok, so no borrowing from Ah Longs. Swipe more credit cards?? Hutang Bank pun sama juga....siap siap digelar bankrupt....what to do?? Balik kampung tanam jagung LOHHHH......
Guess today's a good day to start thinking about carpooling.... otherwise, balik kampung tanam jagung lur~~

More bad news coming July 1st. If you own credit cards and you don't make full payment, you won't get to enjoy the 20-day interest free period. It's going to be really tough for Malaysians...better balik kampong tanam jagung : )
Heard that by August we will be paying a lot more for petrol than we are already now......teruk case...really balik kampung tanam jagung la this time.....
